I have been to the Career Link office in Montgomery County a few times and from the security guards at the main entrance to the receptionist to all of the employees, I have never been to a government service office that has been more pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly than at this office. Kudos to the hiring manager that has staffed this office with the best staff possible. People who visit this office are often in a very stressful situation in their lives and having such a remarkable staff to help them is very important and not often found in government offices. Thank you

Been trying to call an schedule an appointment for over a week. No one answers the phone or it is always busy. This is people's lives you are messing with here. Ive waited weeks to find out why my unemployment missed two payments even though a filed my bi weekly on time. It just stopped and magically started again. No online help, no one to get ahold of. Bet the employees are getting paid tho..... UPDATE In response to the response: The phones DONT RING. They are always busy. Two days ago I got thru, it sad stay on the line, then said Thank you for calling goodbye!!!!

I think it’s interesting how concerts and huge crowd events are planning their openings for next year and this place still can’t open their offices. It’s all on the phone. The actual unemployment line is down and I haven’t been able to get ahold of anyone for months. Also the PUA line is always busy. You’re lucky if spending a few hours a day back to back calling will even get you in. Like that doesn’t waste my time. They aren’t the only ones who have valuable time. And they’re “at work” they have a job. So clearly I have a bigger issue than them. I’ve been helped more by fake companies trying to steal my money than this place on the money that comes out of my taxes to cover me in times like this. It’s my money. I hope people see this isn’t about safety or Covid anymore. They sit in personal cubicles all day already and basically social distance. These people act like I don’t need the terribly low amount of money you “help” me with anyways. I’m constantly wondering where it is, I filed the same way last week why didn’t it work this week? Nothing they do makes any sense. I’ve always been up to date on the PUA forms. I’m still waiting on getting any type of response about weeks of pay I’m missing in the beginning. I’ve even contacted a senator and he’s done absolutely nothing to help. I get your bombarded but algorithmic systems clearly sort out the applications every week. Otherwise they wouldn’t mess up so much. So what are your people doing? Answering phone calls? They can’t do that from an office? Ya know so people can ACTUALLY get help and be seen? No? Makes too much sense? Ok.

Other than having to drive there 45 minutes each paid parking for you and the people there are super helpful I don't know their names but the woman at the desk was very much helpful and a woman who put me to a computer took her time and help me get through the process is they were awesome

A dump. You spend 10 minutes on hold to get ahold of some nasty operator who throws up obstacles to lessen her caseload. No help at all for diasbled folks trying to reenter workforce. What kind of professional institutions don't open until 10:30? 6 WHOPPING hours available, we should all have state employment.

Barely any communication.. it’s terrible I’ve been calling for 2 weeks I spoke to someone. I haven’t heard from them since. No help or guidance with my situation and it’s getting bad because that’s owed money to me that I can use for my child that’ll be here soon.
