I just finished physical therapy with Amber Nauman, DPT, and had a great experience. She quickly assessed the issues I was having and gave me exercises to address them. After 6 weeks the sciatica is gone and I'm no longer getting dizzy (BPPV & cervical stuff). She was a pleasure to work with: knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic. She was perfect for me! I also see Lisa Rivera, NP, for my regular care and she is absolutely terrific as are her techs. She takes time to listen, asks good questions and has always been caring and responsive to my concerns. She recommended physical therapy at my last annual visit and I did it and I no longer have the issues. I really can't say enough good things about her and the care she provides!

I love Valley Medical Group. I've had Diabetes for 59 years with many complications. I see Dr Coates as my GP. She actually reads the notes from my 20 other(no exaggerating) Drs and helps me keep track and stay in good shape. The lab is quite fast and having a pharmacy in the building is great. Nice reception as well. Highly recommend this practice.

My former pcp Dr Kristin Rivera is compassionate and intelligent, patient. I’m was grateful to be her patient. She gives her all to her patients. I became too complicated and the practice doesn’t really understand the struggles of low income disabled folks on masshealth with rare illnesses. If something comes up unexpectedly, getting an appt with Dr Rivera can be difficult because the practice as a whole is in process of replacing retiring physicians and also because she has become popular connective tissue disorders management. It was good i could see other practitioners if I cannot get in with Dr Rivera but they started limiting who I could see and that meant one of the providers I found to be most helpful NP Madelyn - I couldnt see anymore. She is awesome too. Dr Rivera understands things aren’t always as they appear and is down to keep chipping away to solve underlying issues. They get weird about standard forms like PCA ones for Stavros or ones for champ at times that is frustrating. She’s one of the most caring pcps around especially for connective tissue disorder management and with OMT, but VMG is becoming so corporate that it eats away at how much she can actually care. I’m grateful to reception and staff as well. They are friendliest and most responsive of any office I’ve been to. Alex Dr Riveras MA helps and responds quickly but is often quick to come to conclusions without understanding the full picture, also frustrating. I’ve seen 4 other providers and have been very happy to see any of them. I think it’s one of the best place for primary care in the area for those with decent insurance and without a bunch of things going wrong with their health at once.

This office has gone way down in terms of quality. I have had three different visits in which the medical care was subpar. In one visit the doctor said he couldn’t believe I had (medical disorder) which has been on my charts for 10 years. For the past month, I have been trying to get notes from one visit over to a specialist and the office can’t seem to make it happen, even though I have spoken with five people who each told me they would call the specialist and then call me, to make sure it got through. I went to the portal today to send a message and my care provider is gone. She was the only reason I was there. I checked my portal and email to see if they had announced her leaving or if I had a new doctor. Nothing. Can’t say I’m surprised.

They make 0 accommodations if you need. They are unwilling to do any virtual visits for my medication check in because of their new policy they sprung on me suddenly. Its not even a Massachusetts requirement, they are just being difficult and unwilling to make sure their patients can actually access the medical care. Doctors are usually late and most of reception is condescending and rude.

I can't even begin to express my gratitude and appreciation to Casey Bartlett at VMG. I saw her for my first time and I was completely exhausted, disillusioned, and depleted from dealing with my illness and care with other providers. She was so compassionate, understanding and really wanted to work with me to find additional solutions. I was blown away. Whether these options work or don't, I am so impressed with her true concern and interest in trying to look for all possible solutions and options that I couldn't be happier. This is the first time I've had hope in a long time. She truly represents the best of what a medical professional should be. Thank you

Well, I finally got a primary care physician here after months of calling around, trying to find anyone accepting new patients. While I am glad to have access to care, I do have to say I am perennially frustrated with the lack of initiative around helping patients navigate the complex . I requested referrals for physical therapy from my primary care doctor and was not empowered to seek this outside of the Valley Medical Group, leaving me with a traumatizing experience with Julio Mallonga and refusal to refer me outside after this horrible experience. With other referrals, I am never given direction on which hospitals or practices have good reputations and am left relying on google reviews to inform my choices on things I know nothing about. This is why I am writing this review. If I am relying on Google reviews to help make important medical decisions, I will contribute by sharing my experience here too. I've had to pay to get labwork redone because Valley Medical staff failed to respond back to other clinics when information was requested; this dropping the ball is incredibly frustrating in these situations where patients are powerless.

While the doctors, nurses, and nurse practitioners at Valley Medical Group are generally attentive and skilled, my overall experience with this practice has been very disappointing due to its administrative practices. Valley Medical Group appears more focused on maximizing revenue than on prioritizing the well-being of its patients or employees. Overbilling is a frequent issue, and appointments are often canceled at the last minute. Additionally, the practice frequently changes primary care providers without notice, resulting in a serious lack of continuity in care. When providers are switched, Valley Medical Group has also refused to renew necessary prescriptions, placing patients in difficult situations. This caregiver turnover is largely due to how poorly they treat their healthcare providers, making it difficult for them to retain quality professionals. Rather than addressing this issue, the administrative team seems to expect patients to adjust and be “flexible,” placing the burden of their staffing issues on patients instead of addressing the root problem. Regrettably, the administrative team has not been helpful in resolving these issues. Instead of working with patients to improve their care, they often shift blame, creating an unnecessarily adversarial environment. If you review their online reputation, you’ll notice a steady decline in patient satisfaction, reflecting their troubling priorities. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend Valley Medical Group for primary care unless you are in a situation where options are limited.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. The best description of this group is utterly inane. I tried scheduling a first appointment with them and the soonest appointment they had was nearly 10 months away, which I accepted. There was a doctor I wanted to see, and they said we'll put you on the schedule with a different doctor but that I could keep trying to request the one I wanted as they were just beginning to see patients. I called three times throughout those ten months to do so, but ultimately they just said that doctor was unavailable. Then the doctor they set me up with left, so I tried again to get the doctor I wanted. Nope. There was even an open slot for the doctor I wanted, I signed up through the portal, they rejected it. They changed my appointment date three times, and finally I had an intake appointment with a temporary doctor who was going to be substituting on that one day. Not ideal, but I figured its better than nothing. I showed up 15 minutes late on my appointment date because of a work schedule conflict. 15 minutes, thats all. They told me I couldn't be seen for my physical because I was 15 minutes late. The best they could do was a few minutes conversation with the substitute doctor who wasn't even going to be my doctor. What is this place????? I do NOT reccomend.

Its a really big shame how much I actually like my doctor because reception really ruins the whole practice for me. They lie, misgender me consistently, break HIPAA (to the whole waiting area), and are rude. They fly the LGBT flag you would think they would have a little more understanding that pronouns aren't optional. I wish there was another way to work with my doctor far away from VMG. I'm chronically ill and just want to feel better. I feel defeated and reception relayed almost no info to anyone. I'm very dissatisfied and disappointed. Do better VMG
