We have ate here several times and food is always very good and very good helpings for the price compared to other places. We had the chicken bacon ranch pizza and also added extras of Canadian bacon , cream cheese, roasted garlic and feta and it was absolutely fantastic and the best pizza we have ever had! It’s so nice that you can eat here at anytime of the day or night. Black coffee is so good and smooth not nasty and bitter like other places. I also like getting the Philly cheesesteak And fries and man they give you a good amount of fries unlike other places. Our daughter loves the biscuits and gravy a lot. Update went here again and waited 20 minutes & nobody ever came to help us, nobody to even say hi be with you in a few minutes no water or coffee or anything! So disappointed & we got up & left. Don’t plan on going back & we went to sweet Gypsy’s and had great food & service and the place was clean as well.

This motel was VERY clean, the room was cozy, and the bed was very comfortable. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. ||Another thing we really liked about staying here was the food. We were very tired the afternoon we arrived, …

After our tour of the nearby Muskox Farm (a great visit by the way), we were a little hungry wanting something small and simple, like some clam chowder. Down the street was the Palmer Valley Hotel & Café. The Café is a simple, local place …

We were here for two days during our exploration of Fairbanks to Seward and back. Very warm and pro front desk- Cafe is 24x7 that's why no coffee machine in rooms but it's worth it to spend some minutes in restaurant and enjoy your coffee- we has breakfast here and it was very very good. Parking is no worries - you have parking in front and back. Rooms are clean and well kept - good job by house keeping. I strongly recommend this place to stay and relax .

I grew up in Palmer and now live in Texas. I spent countless nights at the VHo having late night breakfasts or chicken club sandwiches. Given that it is the only 24 hour option, it is the one and only late night diner in town- it’s clear they know that they don’t have competition. The last few times I have been home, I have received poor service, the restaurant has been dirty and in disarray, and despite the quality of food and quality of service going down- prices continue going up. I came in this evening and sat myself as was instructed on the sign at the front. I sat for over 10 minutes waiting to be greeted and presented with a menu. The server on overnight shift this evening completely disregarded me and continued to work on stocking, slamming things around, and doing anything she could to complete tasks that don’t actually pay her tips. I got up and walked out and she pretended that she didn’t see me before which was not true. She just thought I would tolerate not being viewed as a valued guest because they are the only food option in town late at night. I walked out and made a sandwich at home. It is time for a total overhaul of the VHo starting with service standards

Rooms are well laid out, clean and decent. The bathroom is a little crowded. I was unfortunately close to the public restroom and heard the door squeak in the middle of the night - so pack ear plugs. I ate dinner and breakfast here. It was typically bar and diner style, but was good and had good service. Plenty of free parking behind the building. For the price, I would recommend.

Probably the worst “hotel” I’ve ever stayed at. It’s very rundown, dated, the walls are paper thin, doors are flimsy, bed is awful and it’s loud all night. The first night I stayed there the cops came to arrest someone. The second night trouble makers were in and out of hallways and partying in the back parking lot until 5am. You could hear what the people in the room next door are saying, literally word for word. The rooms are also VERY small and the bathroom is very small. There are cords plugged in everywhere and hanging and a small fridge which takes up 1/4 of the room. I would never stay here again, I felt like I had to sleep with one eye open. The stay were kind and helpful but that’s all it has going for it. The food was also atrocious. Bland, greasy and lacking care.

Reviewing the cafe, didn’t staying motel. Breakfast skillet was good, a lot of food! They were busy and service was fair! Would recommend for breakfast, would try lunch or dinner if we are back in town again. We stayed at the Colony Inn, great stay!

The place was pretty dated. The saving grace was the 24 hour cafe. Downside of the cafe is it draws alot of homeless and there was even a random guy doing drugs in the parking lot. Would not recommend or stay again.

Food was good. The woman who was waitressing the morning I went in was not very friendly and must not like her job at all. Not friendly at all and in this type of job you need to be friendly or have a friendly attitude at least.
