Lovely lodge experience. Rooms are 8-10 in each of the lodges with a balcony and wooded view. Cute painted bear tracks leading from the lodges to the restaurant. Beautiful location with convenient shuttle service to town. I do wish the shuttle ran more frequently than once every hour. Front desk staff were gracious and helpful, and if you are transferring to a cruise, they have a highly organized system of getting your luggage directly to your state room, so you can enjoy your time in Seward without worrying about following your bags. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our double queen was a little strange because the bathroom sink and counter are literally in the bedroom area, which makes it hard if you are trying to get ready for your day while the other person is still sleeping. But overall, we found this place lovely. Also, we had an outstanding meal at nearby Resurrection Roadhouse-would highly recommend!

Great experience with kind and helpful staff. From the transportation around town and to the hotel ,our bags brought to our room, food on site was close and tasty. We had a stay here as part of our trip with the Alaska Railroad. Rooms are pretty basic 'motel style' with the oddity that the vanity is in the room, separate from the bathroom. Baggage transfer with ARR was fast and convenient. Location of quite and remote, which required use of the shuttle to get around. Would have been better if the shuttle run more then every hour and if it had more destinations - particularly Exit Glacier. Staff were friendly and helpful.

There is also a separate detached main lodge, which is attractive. Shuttle runs hourly to and from downtown Seward. Lodge is just minutes away from the Exit Glacier and trailhead to the Harding Ice Field.
