What a great place to stay. Mr. Kendall was fantastic and made us feel very welcome. Our room was great, bed very comfortable and the two ladies in the kitchen...fantastic, a delight to talk to. Breakfast was great, and when you arrive there are very good cookies for you. If we are ever in Seward again, this is the only place we will stay. The lodge is located a little ways out of town and super peaceful. The deck is amazing, you can watch the sea otters swimming around and watch the boats. Awesome.

I brought my parents to Alaska for their 50th anniversary, our stay at Resurrection Lodge on the Bay was the perfect place to kick off our adventures! My parents stayed in the Barn House and had the whole place to themselves (which I think …

An amazing spot to soak in the Alaskan beauty. Far enough from Seward for peacefulness but close enough to enjoy all there is to offer in the area. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable but the view was the crowning jewel! Looking out the …

Hands down, the best place to stay in Seward. We spent several nights here and had the chance to try both the yurt and the Deluxe Queen room—each had its own charm. The yurt was a peaceful, spacious escape with a cool open layout and lots of privacy. The Deluxe Queen, on the other hand, gave us front-row views of Resurrection Bay right from bed. Just steps from the main lodge and breakfast area, it was super convenient, though it does come with more foot traffic and thinner walls. You will hear your neighbors—especially if they decide to watch TV at 3 a.m., like ours did. It was annoying, but thankfully it didn’t last long or ruin the overall stay. The deck is absolutely a highlight. We spent plenty of time relaxing there, watching bald eagles, otters, seals, sea lions, hummingbirds, and more—all without ever leaving the property. Breakfast each morning was fantastic—fresh, homemade, and served with genuine warmth by the two ladies in the kitchen who made us feel completely at home. Hosts Kendall and Michelle were friendly, welcoming, and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout our stay. It’s only about a 10-minute drive to downtown Seward, but the lodge feels like its own little world—quiet, scenic, and unforgettable. We’d absolutely stay here again.

We had such a wonderful stay! The lodge is spotless, beautifully decorated, and feels so inviting. Breakfast was delicious, and we loved the afternoon cookies as well as having coffee and tea available all day. The property has grills for guest use, and some rooms even have kitchens, which is so convenient. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the owners were easy to communicate with—always quick to respond, friendly, and available when needed. Highly recommend!

Incredible!! Mr. Kendall and Ms. Michelle were fantastic, our room was fantastic, the ladies in the kitchen...fantastic! I cannot say enough great things about Mr. Kendall and how he went out of his way to accommodate my family! If I am ever in Seward again, this is the only place I will stay. The lodge is located just out of town and super peaceful. We had a three bedroom overlooking bay. I watched otters playing from the dining room table...breathtaking;)) I truly could sit on the porch all day to watch the wildlife.

The owners, the staff are all so friendly & accommodating! If & when, we ever get back to Alaska we would definitely stay here again!! We saw otters swimming around & one morning a young whale!!!

This is a very cute stay near Seward. They had easy check-in for us when we came in late at night. Our room was right on the water and the view was simply amazing. They also had great breakfasts every morning and served sweets throughout the day in the kitchen. There was also a close cafe/restaurant 2 minutes walk away if you didn't want to trek into Seward. While the rooms are clean and comfortable, we had a few small issues. The shower door could not close all the way so water was constantly leaking through. The shower head could not be adjusted well without falling over and sometimes there was no hot water. We stayed in the barn where the walls were thin so it was very cold. While there was a heater, it made the air very dry so we didn't use it often. Also because the floors and walls are so thin, we heard our upstairs neighbors constantly and it kept waking us up. It probably is just an issue with the barn and not the main building. Overall we enjoyed the stay as the location and price was nice. And it is close to a few hiking trails!
