For the price and location, you truly can't beat it. The rooms were clean and everything was in good condition. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean, and the heater worked great! The complimentary breakfast was fantastic for the price. It almost had me licking my plate. The service was pretty good and everyone was super friendly and helpful. Dylanvir was great at addressing all my questions and concerns and really valued what I had to say which is something that is rare among all the many many other hotels I have stayed at. The hotel looks like it was grand one day and simply has aged and not been refreshed (included a photo). The room was fine and spacious for the three of us. The staff was largely friendly—albeit they looked a bit over worked. The location was great, lots of restaurants, shops, and museums within 20 minute walk. Easy to get out of town to the other sites we wanted to see. Engineering wise: we could hear the doors of our neighbors operate. We would stay here again, good balance of space, quality, and price.

Man what an absolute gem this place is. Having travelled through Fairbanks a few times, I decided to try this hotel to see if the price matches the value and I'll tell you what.... it was phenomenal! I don't understand people's expectations on here because I couldn't complain one time. The rooms were clean, bed was comfy, sheets were pristine, bathrooms were clean, showers were clean. I got nothin.... Friendly service staff and the breakfast was pretty great. I enjoyed the bagels and the fruit was fresh picked. The manager was great to talk to and certainly has a passion for hospitality and creating a good experience for the customer. I will be back here soon and I definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Fairbanks.

We are staying here as part of a cruise tour. It’s fine. The staff is really nice. The rooms are dated and dark. Small bathrooms. They do have a coffee maker in the rooms but with powdered creamer. The breakfast was not good. It was $25 per person for a very mediocre hotel meal. And they have a sign asking you to add gratuity but I’m not sure what for. The buffet was low on food, serving spoons were dirty, no one spoke to us or even cleared a single plate during the hour we sat there. Avoid the food at this hotel and you should be ok. Honestly, I would do a land tour on my own next time so I could be more in control of hotel, meals and transport timing. So I’d rate it a 3 star except for the breakfast situation which really brought it down.

If I could do negative reviews I would. This place has no humanity. I reserved a room through their third party vender with extended check out for the next day for a family member that was having an emergency situation. At check-in we confirmed late check out but next day they refused to let my family stay there in a room I had reserved for them to be able to use throughout the day due to their emergency situation. They made her pay for another room and wouldn't let her have access to the original room I reserved for her. This place has no since of community or customer service what so ever. Absolutely abysmal performance all the way around. NOT to mention my the second room they were moved to, they couldn't even sleep on the bed it was so uncomfortable. Hopefully, these people will never be in a situation like that a day in their lives. I would hate for someone to treat them the way they treated my cousin.
