Job Description :	Summary: This role supports computer-based training content development and translate complex technical topics to engage adult learners. The graphic designer will work closely with our training team to create, develop, and maintain electronic and computer-based learning content, training announcements, brochures, and pamphlets to support air traffic control training programs. Job responsibilities include creating of a range of graphics for various media, including print and learning management systems. A candidate for this role would be expected to continue to professionally grow to take on increasingly complex tasks and roles with the client and within the company. This is a remote based position. This a 1099 Position. 6 Month Contract – Averaging 20 – 40 hours per month. Flexible Hours. Must be able to start by April 1, 2022. Position Functions & Skills: Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discuss them with clients or supervisors and make necessary changes. Design graphics that represent complex programmatic concepts in a sophisticated manner that aligns with government client’s visual identity. Work closely with government client and OAS personnel to manage design and content edits, modifications, and version control for curriculum development projects and OAS materials, to include updating knowledge management web pages and links. Required Education, Skills & Capabilities: 6 or more years of experience working with graphic design capabilities for all media: print, digital, and 3-D environments 2 or more years of experience delivering projects and other marketing materials in a timely manner 2 or more years of experience with graphic design, including gathering, verifying, and formatting graphical assets, source files, typefaces and other print and web based material. Demonstrated experience with Adobe Photoshop and other illustration platforms Preferred Education, Skills & Capabilities: Bachelor’s Degree Experience with curriculum design and adult learning principles Experience with design thinking principles or customer experience models Active US Government security clearance Operational aviation experience Great verbal communication and public speaking skills Strategic planning knowledge
