Job Description : Great opportunity for an experienced 2D Designer in Aiken, SC.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
? High School Degree.
? Formal training beyond High School in Computer Aided Design and Drafting, (CADD).
? 8+ years? proven work experience as a Designer in the specified discipline.
? 8+ years? proven work experience in 2D Microstation Computer Aided Design and Drafting, (CADD).
? Proven work experience and ability to walk down systems in the field.

JOB DUTIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (Must have ability to do with no training):
? Provide 2D Designer support services to assigned Engineering Teams.
? Designer support services include engineering analysis, design development, and generation of design output documents in the following areas:

? Electrical

Equipment layout;
Grounding;
Cable tray;
Conduit;
Lighting systems;
Schematics and wiring diagrams;
Working knowledge of National Codes and Standards for electrical design including IEC, NEC, NFPA, NEMA, IEEE, and OSHA.

? Plant Design

Mechanical systems including piping, material handling, equipment and HVAC components;
Equipment layout, piping layout and HVAC layout based on upper tier documents;
Working knowledge of National Codes and Standards for plant design including ASME B31.3, NFPA 101, ASME N509/510 and B16.
