About This Job The Content Specialist & Graphic Designer is responsible for providing support to the Commercial Internal Communications & B2B Proposals Team. Working alongside the Manager and team members, the Content Specialist & Graphic Designer will develop assets to support internal communications, internal newsletters, customer-facing proposals and internal intranet pages (SharePoint). Essential Functions Develop visual elements (logos, maps, templates and other graphics) Develop visual elements (logos, templates, charts, tables, slides and other graphics) to support customer-facing Relationship Review presentations Follow Commerce Brand and Associated Press Style guidelines Develop recurring internal review cycle to maintain evergreen library of graphics Develop visual assets (templates, logos, graphics and other artistic elements) will be utilized within internal communications and newsletters distributed to Commerce Bank’s Commercial Segment (composing 1,500 team members) that focus on a variety of need-to-know topics and project updates. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and organize content for approval Work in conjunction with B2B Proposals team members to understand needs for visual elements while working to meet critical deadlines Develop visual elements (logos, templates, charts, tables other graphics) and page layouts for the Commercial Resource Hub, a portion of the internal Intranet site Help maintain Relationship Review SharePoint site and organize content libraries Develop recurring internal review cycle to maintain evergreen library of graphics Perform other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required Excellent design skills Strong organizational and time management skills Skilled user of Microsoft Office solutions, including SharePoint Skilled user of Adobe Creative Suite solutions Working knowledge of Associated Press Style Strong attention to detail Flexibility and openness to new tasks and assignments in deadline-driven, highly collaborative environment Proven ability to meet varying and sometimes competing commitments Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital arts, web development, visual communication, advertising, marketing or other related field 3-5+ years graphic design experience Content writing experience Location: 1000 Walnut St, Kansas City, Missouri 64106 Time Type: Full time
