THE ROLE We’re looking for… The Junior Designer is responsible for designing and developing digital and print assets to support the Rare Beauty Brands team. This role will be a part-time, 3-month contract engagement, with potential to extend at the discretion of the RBB team. What you’ll accomplish… With the guidance of the Creative Director, design a variety of assets for Patchology, retail partners, and internal creative needs, from concept through final approval. Work collaboratively and constructively on each project with members of the marketing, sales, and operations teams, and external partners such as copywriters and photographers. Execute on-brand design demonstrating considered layout, image composition, typography, and a sophisticated use of color palette. Create designs that reflect the current creative direction. Shift priorities to meet deadlines based on changing calendars. THE RIGHT FIT You have… The foundational training to create refined designs with a focus on layout, image composition, and typography Exceptional skills with Adobe applications: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign Experience with photo retouching Strong time management skills with the ability to balance multiple small projects and deadlines Experience creating and optimizing graphics for the web Strong self-motivation and drive to succeed Excellent attention to detail Desire to learn new things and strong interest in the world of beauty, design, retail and ecommerce.
