Job Description : Broussard’s is looking for a graphic designer to design and create keepsake booklets, videos, photo editing, design and print special projects.Schedule Expectations: -Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.-One (1) hour lunch when possible-Work some national holidays-Work every 3rd weekendPerformance Expectations: -Make eye contact and greet coworkers and guests sincerely-Treat clients and coworkers with courtesy and respect, in-person, on the phone, and in writing-Maintains clean work space-Takes direction from supervisors-Positively responds to requests for assistance from co-workers, supervisors and clients-Notices when help is needed in all areas of the company-Takes initiative to help any area of the company if possible, or let Supervisor know where help is needed-Finds work to do when usual business is slow-Stays calm and cool in stressful situationsQualifications: -Excels in the following programs: Creative Cloud Suite, Microsoft Office, Etc.*-Knowledgeable with large file adjustment, exchange and conversion-Able to organize multiple tasks at one time-Able to adapt to evolving technology and print shop equipment-Works well with short deadlines-Communicates professionally in person, on the phone, and in writing-Has good problem solving skills-Has experience in customer servicePreferred Qualifications: -Proficient on both Mac and PC platforms-Experience with digital print job management interface (Fiery Command Workstation)-Proficient in Adobe Premier ProResponsibilities: -Interpret Broussard’s service schedule to prioritize jobs-Edit and resize photos-Collaborate with locations to format and create custom keepsakes-Review final keepsake with locations and families to ensure satisfaction -Design and produce memorial stationary package items -Maintain communication with all locations -Collaborate with any outside vendors for elective printing as instructed -Communicate with outside clients on reoccurring donated design and print work. -Conduct meetings to discuss new projects with outside clientsSuccessful Personal Characteristics: -High level of integrity and honesty-Able to work independently and as a team member-Able to prioritize jobs-Excellent listening skills-Able to work in stressful situations while keeping a cool and positive attitude-Able to work successfully with minimal supervision-Self motivated, especially under pressure-Welcomes constructive criticism-Has a reputation for giving great service to clients and co-workersReports to: Art DirectorJob Type: Full-timePay: $16.83 – $21.63 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offParental leaveVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftHolidaysWeekend availabilityApplication Question(s):How many years of experience do you have working closely with a team?Education:Associate (Preferred)Experience:Adobe Creative Cloud Suite: 1 year (Preferred)Graphic design: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
