Join us as we share our heart and love for Jesus through the creative expression of AMEN Church.Creative Director – Will lead a team of graphic designers and copywriters in the development of creative ideas and conceptual platforms that are on strategy, on-brand, and achieve objectives. Provides strategic direction and insightful feedback to the creative team to elevate the work and ensure a standard of creative excellence.Provides creative insight into the production of programs for all ministry experiences.Leads and coordinates video production to include collaboration with writers, directors, and videographers for weekly worship services.Reviews all worship service scripts and flows to ensure continuity and quality.Orchestrates all aspects of stage productions to include casting, creative writing, and script editing/interpretation.Provides creative direction on small- and large-scale projects from creative conception to completion.Collaborates with the leadership team on assignments and creative briefs.Leads in directing and executing the design of marketing assets as prescribed by creative/marketing briefs.Leads project kick-off meetings with Senior Creative Team members.Manages creative brainstorms and strategizes with the creative team to help develop creative direction based on knowledge of current trends, pop culture, and current and past design themes.Identifies the conceptual direction and provides guidance to the creative team.Provides direction to graphic designers and copywriters on roles, assignments/deliverables, and timing.Provides guidance to the creative team throughout the creative development process, providing constructive feedback, making suggestions, and proposing alternate ways of thinking to elevate the work.Collaborates with writing team to artfully build creative solutions to address specific project objectives.Converts rough ideas into visual prototypes (e.g., sketches, layout drafts) to illustrate concepts for creative reviews.Recommends, researches, and develops imagery (e.g., photography, illustration) to support creative strategy and execution.Directs and is accountable for the final development and production of creative assets and ensures accuracy, attention to details, and overall meets or exceeds the design objectives.Ensures brand guidelines and directives are embraced and adhered to in all executions.Oversees the creation of presentation boards or decks.Presents and sells the work to the Senior Creative Team.Leads development of direct reports through mentorship, coaching and ongoing performance feedback, and identification of learning opportunities.Works to improve the team’s overall performance and embraces a collaborative approach.Provides visible support for leadership and helps build a unified team mindset.Persuasively sells creative ideas to the Senior Creative Team.You’ll Need To HaveWhat we’re looking for…Six or more years of relevant work experience.Experience as a graphic designer or art director.Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud software.A portfolio.Even better if you have one or more of the following: Bachelor’s degree in advertising, design, journalism, or relevant field.Four or more years of experience as a senior creative leader.Ten or more years of experience as an art director or copywriter, preferably in an agency and/or in-house creative department.Experience developing initial creative strategies to address core marketing and business objectives.Experience leading, managing, and mentoring teams and providing actionable constructive feedback.Knowledge of design applications in traditional and emerging channels.Knowledge of current trends, pop culture, current, and past design themes.Current knowledge and understanding of where and how people interact with media, including at home, on the go, while shopping, mobile, broadcast, print, event, etc.Functional knowledge of typography, layout, and design principles.Attention to detail and ability to work on-time, on-budget, and on-strategy.Adapted to changing priorities, deadlines, and directions.Anticipates potential problems and obstacles to project success, communicates concerns, and develops solutions.Able to communicate clearly, thoroughly, and succinctly both verbally and in writing; able to respond to comments, suggestions, and criticisms in a constructive manner while maintaining the integrity of the creative idea; able to influence and/or persuade key stakeholders when necessary.Collaborates well with others, demonstrated by partnering with cross-functional teams to successfully deliver work.Strong presentation skills; able to present creative work, clearly explaining the assignment, creative strategy, creative idea, and how it accomplishes the business objectives.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software.Job Type: Full-timeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Media, Arts & Design Occupations: 6 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
