Job Description : Experiential Graphic DesignerAs an Experiential Graphic Designer at WINTER HOLBEN, your role is to conceptualize and design for the integration of brand, physical, experiential and space planning aspects on our wide-ranging portfolio of projects. You’ll collaborate with clients and a highly creative design team, contributing to all phases of project design and development, from conceptual development through implementation. You are passionate about design, skilled in working within interdisciplinary teams and can develop a brand into the built environment for client projects of all sizes and scopes.What You Will Do: Prepare for and develop creative design concepts by synthesizing client vision and your thorough research and analysisIllustrate concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic conceptsDevelop a deep understanding of technical aspects and details to create design intent documentationDesign, develop and produce environmental graphic design packages to include plans, sections, elevations, specifications, and detail drawingsCollaborate with other design staff/disciplinesExercise independent judgement in evaluation, selection, and use of standard techniquesExhibit an overall commitment to design excellence and industry best practicesApply creative problem-solving every step of the wayYour Experience Includes Degree or equivalent education in graphic design3-5 years of design experienceStrong knowledge of the design processKnowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the webConcrete experience in creating visual identity systemsProficiency in Adobe Creative SuiteCAD tools skills a plus, but not requiredKnowledge in 3D rendering skills in Sketch-up or similar a plusFlexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of developmentA quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, and communicate design ideas and direction effectivelyStrong organization, collaboration, communication and relationship management skillsAll applications must include a portfolio for full considerationJob LocationThis role is located primarily at our Kittery, Maine studio (an hour north of Boston and 45 minutes south of Portland, ME), with a hybrid remote/in-office model.
