The Graphic Design Coordinator is a key producer, designer, and visual problem solver for the ProAssurance Marketing Department. The position supports the Director of Creative Services and Brand Management by efficiently designing and coordinating the production of assets for strategic marketing and sales initiatives designed to build brand awareness and improve customer sentiment for ProAssurance. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented project manager able to coordinate and drive multi-level design approvals to completion in a fast-paced environment. Projects include agent newsletters, website banners and other graphics, event/tradeshow booth materials, point of sale brochures/flyers, trade advertisements, and development of templates/graphics for email marketing, social media, webinars, and other communications channels. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design and coordinate production of marketing materials and graphic/brand assets (65%) Works with marketing copywriters to design and produce printed and digital marketing assets for marketing and sales initiatives. Contributes to problem solving and project ideation challenges. Coordinates workflow for Creative Services department. Oversees requests and tracks project status to ensure all jobs are accounted for and on schedule to meet desired outcome/deadlines using project management system. Assists in maintaining current ProAssurance style guide and brand guidelines, keeping preferences and rules up-to-date by revising, developing, and documenting restrictions as needed. Monitors work produced by external creative talent (freelance designers, illustrators, video producers, ad agencies) to coordinate production of on-brand graphic assets. Reviews production methods and vendor capabilities to ensure cost control and high quality deliverables. Researches new technologies and product options to bring new solutions to the table. Administrative Duties (35%) Manages design proofs and approvals to ensure on-brand, high quality output, with attention to detail and design. Inspects finished products to ensure quality and brand standards have been met. Updates marketing materials and graphics to maintain current styles used are within the brand guidelines. Builds and maintains the graphic asset library, keeping stock images and files organized for easy access Maintains collaborative work relationships with internal and external colleagues Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design or related field 3-5 years graphic design/project management experience Desire to seek out creative solutions and growth Highly organized with strong attention to detail Excellent written and verbal presentation skills Proficient in Adobe software including Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel #IND1 |
