Job Description : | The Graphic Design, Illustrator within Finance of America Reverse (FAR) is responsible for producing custom illustrations to translate marketing data into visuals across multiple sales channels and initiatives that encourage ever-expanding opportunities centered around retirement. EXPECTATIONS Creates complete, on-brand illustrations by combining painting, hand-drawn and digitally produced images. Works with our Editorial and Marketing teams to present unique data in a beautiful, intuitive, and accessible way. Ensure marketing content matches brand standards. Designs custom icons, infographics, charts, logos, and lockups. Translates data sets and metrics into infographics, charts, blog/email/social media creative, maps, custom executive data presentations, and product and brand chart styles. Designs and layups short and long-form marketing content for branding, print ads, mailers, web pages, digital ads, email marketing, social media content, and more. Remains up-to-date on trends and products within FAR’s industry, as well as visual design trends and best practices. Internalizes FAR’s integrated value proposition, mission, and the research that led to its development. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION – REQUIRED High School Diploma EDUCATION – PREFERRED BA – Bachelor of Arts EXPERIENCE/SKILLS Minimum three years demonstrated experience designing marketing and advertising content in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with diverse, geographically dispersed teams. Editorial design experience a plus. Design expertise in illustration, typography, layout, color, and brand systems. Capable of generating hand-drawn illustration concepts quickly and precisely. A compelling portfolio that showcases aesthetic awareness, high-caliber drawing skills, and command of multiple illustration styles. Knowledge of marketing campaign workflows, including understanding the creative and production process for Print, Video, and Digital materials. Software Expertise: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and cloud collaboration tools such as Box and Google Docs. Can flawlessly execute designs that adhere to marketing best practices and established brand guidelines: Professional and authoritative without being stuffy or dry. resent complex financial information in engaging charts and graphs. Can manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexity, meets deadlines and works well under pressure. Well organized and detail oriented. Demonstrates the ability to independently lead all aspects of the design process from conception to completion. Can easily communicate, both verbally and in writing, complex ideas and concepts to a broader team of stakeholders. Sales-minded and understands audience persuasion.
