Job Description : Graphic Design Faculty, Department of Art & Design, Central Michigan University

Full-time, fixed-term faculty position in Graphic Design. This position begins August 22, 2022 and may be renewed annually, based on satisfactory performance and student enrollment. Benefits (including full medical) and retirement contributions provided.

Responsibilities: Teach four graphic design/digital art courses per semester.

Required Qualifications
BFA in Graphic Design, Design Communication, or Visual Communication, etc. with 5 years professional experience; OR, Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Design Communication, Visual Communication, etc.

Working knowledge of Adobe design applications including Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.

Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

Preferred Qualifications
MFA in Graphic Design, Design Communication, Visual Communication or equivalent.

Working knowledge of Adobe design applications including Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, After Effects, Adobe Premier, and XD.

College level teaching experience as instructor of record.

Two years professional experience.
