Pursuit Management – Tax Design
Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Design Manager to join our Pursuit Tax Design team, leading the ideation, execution, and production of high-level, creative sales deliverables. This individual will focus their efforts within the growing global Tax Operate/Transformation bold play service offering. This role will have an impact on a global scale where the Design Manager will work with both US and international teams.
In this role, the Design Manager will develop concepts and overall art direction, translating those designs into a suite of custom sales deliverables.
This position calls for a passionate, collaborative professional with a positive outlook, excellent communication,
and expert design skills. The preferred candidate is proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Propose, plan, design, and deliver a full range of high-impact pursuit collateral
(both print and digital), including but not limited to proposals, interactive presentations, print collateral, infographics, and other related materials. Animation and motion graphics experience a plus
While working with stakeholder teams, consistent application of Design Thinking model, driving value through strategic design
Blend photography, imagery, charts, text, and multimedia elements to create high-impact materials that distinguish the Deloitte U.S. Firms in the marketplace and help win business
Ensure a creative yet consistent look and feel that adheres to, and supports, the Deloitte brand, visual identity, legal guidelines, and messaging
Exercise judgment and project management skill to balance priorities and communicate to teams
to meet and exceed project deadlines and commitments; keep internal clients informed of projects
and progress
Develop long-term design strategies, staying ahead of the curve on design technologies and how they can be applied to needs of design team
Drive innovation through new workflows, technology, design trends
Report to Tax Design Senior Manager as part of Pursuit Management team within the Sales Excellence/Client Market and Growth Channel
Qualifications and experience
Advanced knowledge and expert level of Adobe CC suite (Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator),
and MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint)
Highly skilled conceptual approach with strategic reasoning to visual communication
Knowledge of motion applications and video production a plus
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
5-8 years of related work experience in business development, marketing, or internal communications
Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, developing creative deliverables
within tight deadlines
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Professional client service manner and ability to interact with all levels of management
Demonstrated project management and organization skills, and close attention to detail
Self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to manage own time and take initiative
Experience working in a professional services organization a plus
With the expectation to support global teams, willingness to work flexible hours
and adjust to UK and European time-zones
