Roles & Responsibilities Exemplify Stampin’ Up!’s core values: we care about people first, we act with courage, we better our best, and we own it. Know and understand the brand. Create high quality designs across various media types: promotion print/web deliverables, internal and external branding applications, packaging, logo merchandise, social media, digital platforms, video and animation graphics, etc. Supervise photography to be used in assigned projects. Collect props, select talent, and work with photographer to ensure that the composition, colors, and subject matter meet the requirements of the project and the brand. Partner with vendors as assigned. Communicate regularly, aid in the selection of materials, provide clear project specifications, etc. Supervise printing and/or production of projects. Ensure accuracy in color, registration, and quality. Attend press checks or other facility visits as applicable. Lead the development of assigned projects under minimal supervision: develop concepts, ensure accuracy, follow processes, track and meet deadlines, communicate with other stakeholders, collaborate with other departments, and attend meetings (be on time, be prepared, and participate). Maintain and archive design files. Be an active participant in brainstorms and critiques with design team, manager, creative director, and appropriate stakeholders. Be able to give and take feedback positively, share ideas, and contribute to a team environment. Stay current in design trends, programs, technologies, and innovative thinking as it applies to print, web, etc. Share ideas and seek to always improve skillset. Requirements BA/BFA in graphic design, web design, illustration, or equivalent work experience. Two years professional experience in graphic/web design in a corporate setting with marketing or advertising background is a plus. Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, XD, Acrobat), Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office) Ability to think strategically, take initiative, multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. |
