We are hiring a Graphic Designer for a Pet Retailer who is Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (including XD) – Ideally, have illustrations skills but not required -Proven ability to not just work within – but thrive in – a fast paced environment. Must have an amazing online portfolio showcasing multiple types of projects and solutions, must include digital samples..

3 days on-site in San Diego at Headquarters

Duties and requirements needed:

Creating high quality designs for digital and print – A pixel-perfect design sensibility.
Tight typography chops.
Ensuring designs are on-brand, on-strategy, and on-time.
Ability to prototype your ideas with fresh thinking.
Strong background in creative within the digital space.
Demonstrated humility and strong sense of collaboration combined with optimism and an inventive and entrepreneurial spirit.
A tireless desire to learn driven by curiosity.
Additional details:

Designs marketing tactics from concept to completion with little supervision including layout and composition to the production of files for release and deployment based on business requirements using layout and design authoring tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, etc.) to define the way that images, text, and multi-media are displayed on the site. Activities include: designing overall visual aesthetics, including photos, color, font type and size, graphics, information flow, and layout using graphics software applications, techniques, and tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, etc.), icons, color schemes, content and infrastructure for new product releases and new web-hosted product offerings.
