Job Description : GRAPHIC DESIGNERDescription Design various digital and printed media, including but not limited to: web pages, brochures, flyers, signs, posters, magazines, calendars, postcards, annual reports, ads, and billboards.Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering media information and support materials.Plans concept by studying information and materials.Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy, with attention to arrangement, size,type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval.Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Maintain and update website as needed via online publisher WIXSKILLS needed: Strong communication, writing and time management skills.Ability to work on multiple projects with varying timelines.Professional approach to receiving constructive feedback.Experience working on a Mac platform in Adobe Creative Suite / Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPointEVENT COORDINATORPhysical Requirements: This job may require long hours on your feet, including walking and standing. This job requires the ability and willingness to move tables and chairs.Position Overview: The Event Coordinator will oversee, from start to finish, all receptions, fundraisers, and special events. This position requires occasional work beyond normal business hours, some weekends and evenings. Must have the willingness to work hard alone but also the ability to ask for help when needed. Specific duties include but are not limited to:Ensure that everything is ready in the galleries prior to the arrival of guests.Liaise with staff and volunteers if help is needed to ensure that event set-up needs are met (tables, chairs, tablecloths, benches, centerpieces, cups, plates, napkins, etc.)Work with caterer on food ordering, delivering or pick-up if needed.Assist Director with hospitality needs for performers as needed.Communicate with building superintendent on needs prior to and after the event.Communicate with building superintendent for ordering cups & plates prior to eventCommunicate with building superintendent on table and chair needsOversee Volunteers (assure volunteers know what they are to do and THANK them)Organize an annual or bi-annual Volunteer Appreciation EventResponsible for kitchen inventory (plates, cups, napkins, alcohol, etc.)Will work with volunteer committees on fundraisers & assist them in setting up events.Ensure that the building is clean and ready for business following events by coordinating with building superintendent.Star Tree fundraiser – order paper/envelopes, prepare the mail out, incoming data collection, thank you letters, acknowledgement cards, and prepare final report for Hosting Committee.Social Media Coordinator: Execute a results-driven social media strategy.Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.Attend events and produce live social media content.Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.Collaborate with marketing team to create a social media calendar.Monitor social media channels for industry trends.Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.Review analytics and create reports on key metrics.Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.SALARY IS COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCEJob Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hourBenefits:401(k) matchingHealth insurancePaid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftOvertimeWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:Bonus payCOVID-19 considerations:Proof of Vaccination preferred but not requiredEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Graphic design: 1 year (Preferred)Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Preferred)Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
