| Job Description : | Jack in the Box Inc. is seeking a Graphic Designer II who will be responsible for creating, designing, and producing marketing materials that are aligned with the Jack in the Box brand to support in-store, internal Corporate, and regional marketing efforts and that advance the Brand image. KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Designs and produces graphic art and visual marketing materials for print and digital media use throughout Company-owned and Franchise restaurants. Applies deep understanding of the brand style guide (color, font, terminology, etc.) to express the brand language and ensures that all designs adhere to the overall brand look and feel. Takes on the complex design requests to decipher, draft and deliver sophisticated and polished materials. Participates in the development of brand identity elements such as brand templates, brand aesthetic and standards. Evaluates, adjusts and adopts new elements as necessary. Develops regional and seasonal materials (including coupons and sports sponsorship) to support marketing campaigns in the field. Interprets creative briefs to identify messaging priorities and delivers press-ready files in accordance with vendor specifications (colors, logos, etc.). Drives the creative process of restaurant signage (POP) from start to finish including the design of initial concepts, presentations, revisions and final production. Interprets requests and design briefs from internal clients to create graphic design solutions to meet their needs. Prepares electronic design files for output by approved vendors; effectively maintains file archives to ensure ease of retrieval for future use. Initiates service requests and technical support as needed. Participates in creative reviews with cross-functional teams and provides constructive feedback when needed. Contributes to photo shoot by providing on-site input on creative concepts and participating in shoot design. Manages color correction prior to final approval of photo shoot. Applies expertise and knowledge of design concepts to assist Design team with projects of complexity. Performs other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required, assigned and directed. QUALIFICATIONS: Education – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Art, Graphic Design, or related field. Experience – 3+ years of graphic design experience; prior Macintosh design experience is required. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities Previous experience with POP (at restaurant signage), sports sponsorship marketing materials, coupons, and OOH. Proficient in the use of Macintosh design environments. Comprehensive skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office required. Ability to create unique illustrations (design elements, fonts, etc.); experience with character or emoji design preferred. Excellent oral and written English communication skills; strong interpersonal skills. Thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment and is able to effectively work with evolving project needs and balance shifting priorities. Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior.
