JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible to create and design high level, quality materials for advertising, sales, websites, and other customer (internal and external) and company communications. Ensure brand standards are being met for all marketing projects.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
Initiate the development, design, and production of professional graphic materials while supporting the branding and imaging strategies of the Marketing team.Conceptualize, design, and produce professional graphic materials using a wide variety of media, methods, and techniques.Provide creative direction to team and internal/external customers, as well as to other graphic positions in the Creative Services Marketing department.Mentor and provide creative directions to other graphic positions in the Creative Services Marketing department, ensuring brand standards are being met.Research and incorporate new creative techniques with the team to help in the design of Marketing related items that increase customer awareness and loyalty.Lead creative projects and be responsible for keeping them on target, in scope, and on schedule.Represent the Marketing department in web design projects.Review materials from outside vendors to ensure brand standards are met across all marketing materials.Initiate project activity, take ownership, and follow through to completion.Design marketing and messaging materials that are consistent with company branding and imaging strategies.Assist with design of company websites and ensure consistency and professional presentation.Maintain high accuracy in all communications and presentations, and proof all materials.Maintain company identity, quality, and consistency in all graphic presentations.Maintain graphics library and digital records.Communicate effectively and professionally in all forms of communication with internal and external customers.Adhere to Midco privacy guidelines to ensure each customer’s privacy.Maintain regular attendance and arrive to work on time as required by your position.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience.Minimum of ten years professional graphic design experience required.Proficient in photography, typography and printing.Advanced-level skills using Adobe Creative Suite (Focus on Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver is preferred — Flash experience beneficial)/Adobe Creative Cloud.Intermediate-level skill set working with HTML and CSS.Intermediate knowledge or better of print/offline design and production concepts.Working knowledge of HTML5 and Javascript or similar programming language.Interest in, or experience with, responsive design, jQuery mobile or other approaches to designing for mobile users.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 30 lbs.The noise level in the work environment is moderate.Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.
