GRAPHIC DESIGNER – REMOTE INDIANA
Graphic Designer
Working under the Brand & Solutions Senior Marketing Manager of a strategic business unit, with support from the Digital Marketing Transformation Manager, the Graphic Designer is responsible for design and execution of creative assets from discovery through concept design, editing/revisions and production. This position will support the Allegion commercial business in the US region and will be responsible for delivering assets intended for both print and digital consumption. This individual must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software, specifically Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The Graphic Designer must be a self-motivated individual who gives strong attention to detail.
What You Will Do:
Work cross-functionally with major stakeholders that include product marketing, content marketing and field marketing
Partner effectively with internal teams on creative direction and execution, including coordinating requirements, fulfilling requests, reviewing output and iterating projects through final draft
Determine scope of work and predict appropriate timeline on projects
Working with stakeholders, manage and prioritize a portfolio of projects
Adhere to brand standards and brand positioning, as well as act as brand counsel to the business
When necessary collaborate with third-party agency partners on creative projects
Manage project timelines and resources both internally and when outsourced to third-party agency partners
Develop effective creative briefs to guide projects and ensure alignment
Manage request for quote, statement of work, purchase orders and invoicing for third-party agency partners
Workload will be approximately 30% digital creative (including, but not limited to, graphics for social, web and email) / 70% print creative
What You Need to Succeed:
Strong computer and technology skills in both Microsoft and Mac operating systems; highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
Must combine creativity with technical proficiency and accuracy
Strong communication, project management and time management skills
Ability to maintain focus in fast-paced, demanding environments, frequently working with tight deadlines
Demonstrated track record of creativity and imagination in a corporate business environment
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in graphic design or related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience is preferred
Position requires travel up to 10%, Prefer employee to be able to travel to Carmel, Indiana office once a month
