Job Description :	Northeast Publishing – a division of Bangor Daily News and publisher of the Houlton Pioneer Times, Star Herald, Aroostook Republican and the St. John Valley Times – and Print Works (our commercial printing operation) is searching for a bright, inquisitive person who enjoys variety to join our team. We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference.We have an opportunity for a motivated person to join our team in Presque Isle responsible for providing customer service, graphic design and layout services to our customers. Daily duties will include graphic design of multiple business print-based products under tight deadlines, imposing and printing on digital printing equipment, preflighting files, and preparing print jobs for final delivery.To be successful in this role, you must have strong design and organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and be energetic and self-motivated. While we will train the right person, candidates who have experience using Adobe Suite and are proficient with InDesign will be preferred. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. Job duties will include: Graphic design. Knowledge InDesign and Adobe Suite helpful.Preflight files, imposing and printing on digital printing equipment with an emphasis on wide-format print & cut media.Support Print Works staff by assisting with – quotes, orders, customer inquiries, production schedulePrint Works job assembly – binding, collating, stapling, etc.Operate HP Inkjet wide format print & cutProcess inbound and outbound deliveries via UniShip, UPS, etc.Provide customer service assistance to customersWe offer a competitive wage as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
