Team members enjoy a business casual environment where business suits are not required, though our approach to business is decidedly professional.Description of Role: Our company is looking for a motivated and energetic Graphic Designer to join our team to assist with designing training materials and books, magazine advertisements, website related projects, and various other design needs that arise. The ideal candidate will possess a clear understanding of design principles, with the ability to use color, layout, font style, size and other design elements to communicate the intended message. Must work and collaborate well with a team and possess effective communication and listening skills. Must also be able to work independently with little supervision. Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) are a plus.Qualifications and Requirements: Associate degree in graphic design or other comparable, qualified graphic design training school is required.Recent grad to two years of experience is preferred. Years of relevant education may substitute for experience.Must be highly proficient and experienced with developing and designing visual concepts using graphic design tools including the complete Adobe Creative Suite (required).Proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint is also required.Translating concepts and ideas into cohesive design to capture company’s brand and message through company’s illustrated books, website, videos, photography, etc., as needed.Collaborating with others to brainstorm design ideas for new projects.Working as a part of a team with other departments as needed to support their efforts with a variety of projects or tasks that may or many not be directly related to graphic design.Positive attitude with strong commitment to prompt and effective customer service.Ability to work under tight deadlines and flexibility to adapt when pivots are needed.So that we can gain a full appreciation of your talent and creativity, providing a link to some of your work would be much appreciated.Typical full-time hours are 8 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday.Part-time hours may vary.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timeBenefits:401(k)Paid time offSchedule:Monday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:Common spaces are sanitized on a regular basis.
