Job Description : | Job Title: Graphic Designer – MarketingReports to: Marketing ManagerDepartmentCorporate MarketingLocation: Clarksville, TNFLSA Status: ExemptDate: December, 2021SUMMARYThe Marketing Graphic Designer designs images for porcelain tile, procuring and/or creating room scenes and graphics for use in digital and print collateral.ESSENTIALS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other related duties may be assigned -Designing aesthetically pleasing digital and print imagery highlighting Florim’s manufactured products.Presenting fresh, cohesive design and artistry relevant to the Design and Tile Industry.Performing research and development for new product graphic designs incorporating tile flooring.Developing concepts, graphics, and layouts for excellence in product illustration.Determining appropriate size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, including but not limited to font style and size.Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required.Working with other creative team members to produce content.Ensuring deadlines are met and materials are printed to highest quality.Presenting, improving, and contributing to Brand Story, guides and overall company objectives related to marketing graphics and designs.Assisting in planning marketing strategies and objectives.Maintaining marketing database including but not limited to internal portals, external catalogs, key codes, and customer/prospect files.Coordinating advertising schedules and placement; Determining optimal layout.Participating in new market research and design.Coordinating various marketing fulfillment duties and systems including direct mail, packages, letters, catalogs, and other sales literature.Assisting in planning and implementing public relations programs and trade shows.Conducting analysis of present and potential markets for new or existing products or services.Gathering information to determine market characteristics, trends, measurements of market potentials, market-share analysis, and sales analysis.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Marketing or equivalent from technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of one year of related experience.Mastery of industry-standard software to create logos/icons, graphics, and completion of other visual other projects.Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles.
