Job Description : | Good Management is a state recognized cannabis branding company with a modest corporate facility. We are a Company under 30 employees and due to our exponential growth; we are seeking to add a strategic new hybrid position. If you are a graphic designer or marketing person with design skills this position may be for you. We are seeking a local candidate for an intern positionOur ideal candidate is a person who enjoys utilizing several different skills sets who is diplomatic and enjoys that every day may not be the same. Project will range from press releases, marketing, and advertising copy, website updates, brochures, advertising campaigns, packaging labels, and other marketing collateral projects as it pertains to cannabis brands.Summary: Design packaging labels and write articles, create marketing and communications content, manage/update the websites, assist in creation and design of ads, email, and marketing campaigns, create social media content, and assist with photography.Qualifications:Creative and technical writing skillsWorking knowledge of the latest versions of the Adobe creative suite with a focus in Photoshop, Premier, Illustrator, and InDesignProficiency in Windows and Macintosh operating systemsBasic understanding of photo editingSelf-starter with strong organizational and communication skills that support the rest of the teamWell-rounded designer: able to create social media stories, graphics, landing pages, websites – and jump to brochure or label designs, and the occasional image editingA clean and elevated sense of visual design regarding photography, typography, composition, and colorsAbility to conceptualize, pitch, create and execute design solutions for multiple project typesDemonstrated ability to meet deadlines, take feedback and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality deliverablesAbility to work alongside different team members of all levels of the companyTake the concept to final production artwork (If it has to be prepped for a printer, you have no problem making sure prints are in proper form and quality)Occasional local travelPortfolio showcasing a full range of work from print to web/digitalPROJECT MANAGEMENTThe ability to work on multiple projects in tandemCustomer service skillsPhotography management – organize, format, and retouch photographyMaintain consistent brand integrity across all projects large and small in houseand with outside partnershipsNot required but is a plus:Photography skills or an interest in videographyYou’re a photo retouching beginnerQualities: You are a designer with a positive attitude and tough skinYou have an earnest love of learning and exploring solutionsYou are equally as comfortable in the traditional print world as well as digital and social media worldsYou have a high level of quality and attention to detail. You can recognize when something is off by a pixel. You aren’t satisfied with submitting projects until images have been color corrected, grammar is correct, and the design is functionalYou are a great communicator and have no problem following through with team members and clients to complete projects within the brand standardYou don’t take yourself too seriously but you take your work seriouslyYou’re a “do what it takes to get the job done” type of personEgos are checked at the door – we all work in tandem to execute a united vision*Applicants are required to submit a portfolio link.
