The Graphic Designer will be responsible for bringing the Hartford HealthCare brand and messaging to life in a variety of media and platforms. These include print, web, digital and social media. The designer will work with the manager of visual communications and other members of the creative and marketing teams to create effective communication materials including ads and other collateral, as well as social media and digital assets. This is a high-volume production position that requires the ability to complete multiple project under tight deadlines. Responsibilities include but, are not limited to the following:
Supports the development and implementation of HHC’s strategic initiatives and projects through visual presentation of the brand in a variety of media including print, digital and web
Ensures creative deadlines are met
Ensures consistency with brand guidelines
Provides creative concept development
Works with clients and team members to ensure projects meet communication objectives

Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required

Experience:
2+ years of experience required
Portfolio which includes design work in a variety of media, including print and digital.
Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:
Proficient in graphic design software including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, HTML5 and motion graphics/animation software.
MAC proficient
Knowledge of, and experience with, software in a networked environment.
Ability to manage multiple deadline driven projects
Excellent communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, initiative, diplomacy and analytical skills necessary to perform all the duties of the position.
