Job Description :	Marketing AssistantGraphic Designer, Website Designer & Photographer(WordPress knowledge is a plus)Kiva Dunes Golf & Beach Resort is looking for a part-time Marketing Assistant to join our team!Kiva Dunes is a locally owned company of over 25 years, located on the Ft. Morgan peninsula of Gulf Shores, Alabama. With two on-site restaurants, an award winning golf course, and beach vacation rentals, this position is multifaceted and requires creative problem solving.Applicants must be Located in Baldwin County, AlabamaMobile County, AlabamaEscambia County, FloridaKnowledge of Adobe Suites, Social Media and Graphic Design are a must. Knowledge of WordPress, photography, and experience in hospitality would be a plus.Pay Based on ExperienceGraphic Designer/ Photographer Job Responsibilities: Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials. This includes speaking with other department manager to understand needs for signage, guest check-in packet information, menus and much more.Spearheading projects and present solutions to Marketing Director. Plans concept by researching information and materials.Has an eye for design and understands the company’s aesthetic. Illustrates concept by designing rough layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related design concepts.Obtains approval of rough layout to Marketing Director before sending artwork to other departments, printers and online postings.Prepares finished project by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; and purchasing from vendors. This includes researching the best pricing, quality and quantity from vendors, setting up files for printing and keeping working files with ‘ready for print’ files.Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance. Updating websites, updating softwares, troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; and evaluating new equipment.Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies. Communication with marketing services, printers, local tourism companies, etc.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
