M.S. Rau is looking for a Graphic Designer who will aid in graphic design and print production of advertisements and catalogs to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate our clients. Who You Are:
You have a strong work ethic, a love of history and art, a desire to learn, and positive attitude. The expertise you will bring include:
Digitally retouch hi-res images and make them print and web ready.
Manage process between 3rd party clipping firm and upload the product images to the company CRM.
Assist in the production of monthly and weekly advertisements including newsprint and magazines.
Assist with the conceptual design and production of the catalogs.
Assist with the production of the gallery catalog and with getting it printer ready.
Update and manage the ordering process of printed marketing materials including business cards, letterheads, labels, gallery bags, and maps and more.
. Requirements:
Other skills you will bring to M.S. Rau:
Required – Associate of Art Degree in Design, Art, Communications, or related field.
Preferred – Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Art, Communications, or related field.
Required – 2+ years’ work experience with Adobe Suite including Photoshop and InDesign.
Experience with catalog and other print production and working with printers a plus.
Proficient in using Microsoft office software.
Preference for someone with experience creating digital ads and GIFS.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Capable of promoting teamwork within the department and in coordination with other departments.
Must be organized while handling multiple projects, detailed oriented, thorough, disciplined, flexible, patient and possess spontaneous decision capabilities.
Self-management, self-motivation, initiative, and individual judgment is expected.
Strong written verbal communication skills and good organizational skills.

Work Environment
This is primarily a sedentary office position with employees working in a controlled office environment. The employee answers telephone calls and occasionally bends, reaches and pushes and pulls file drawers to file records and reports. Moves within the building to collect, deliver and copy documents. The position uses a computer terminal to access input and retrieve data. Finger dexterity is required to operate computer keyboard and calculator.

Compensation and Hours
This is a fulltime salaried position with a compensation range of $22 – $26 per hour plus the potential to earn quarterly and annual bonuses. The position works Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm with some evening and Saturday work required.
