Job Description :	Scope of PositionThis position is for a talented mid-level designer who is also a proficient production artist. You will report directly to our Director of Creative Services. This will be a fast-paced position, to succeed you must possess a mix of creative and technical skills, flexibility, and be able to work quickly while remaining detail-oriented. On any given day you might be asked to brainstorm with other artists on a project, work independently on creative first looks, prepare art files for print, make text revisions or work on internal marketing pieces including our website. You understand design principles. You are a craftsman. You have experience in communicating ideas and love collaborating with others. You are humble enough to take direct feedback with a positive attitude. We are a small team that requires you to be non-territorial and highly collaborative – a consummate problem solver and team player.Responsibilities: Development and execution of creative concepts with and without style guides for a wide range of clientsCreate engaging design concepts for a variety of mediums including digital/print menus, POS signage, logos and overall brandingDesign mood boards for bar/restaurant concepts including interior materials and fixturesPartner with project managers and production manager to prepare and package files for final release (check size, bleed, colors, resolution, etc.)Execute rounds of presentation materials, edits and design changes, working in a careful and meticulous manner; store and deliver all files in organized mannerRetouch imagery for use in comps, digital and print artworkTechnical Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities): Highly proficient in InDesignSkilled in Adobe Creative Suite; Illustrator and PhotoshopStrong knowledge of design fundamentals, layout, typography and web specificationsUse of paragraph and character stylesExcellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracyExpertise on the Mac platformCapable in PowerPoint and MS OfficeSolid photo retouching skills (color correction, retouching, compositing)Knowledge of high end menu materials and bindery techniquesTakes direction well and works well within a teamAbility to focus in a high-volume workloadEducation and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Design/Art or related fieldMinimum 5 years’ experience in graphic designAgency experience preferredExtra points: Illustration skillsVideo editing skillsPhotography skillsFor consideration please provide your resume, salary requirements, and portfolio samples or link to your online portfolio.No phone calls please.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $55,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offRetirement planVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftWork Location: One location
