You’ll be mentored, no matter how much experience you have – our mentoring culture is an important ingredient that contributes to our success as a company and to the success of our people.Our Baseline· 5 – 10 years of work-related experience with graphic design (internships included)· Leading and co-leading concept development, working with strategists, and clients to create direction and possibility· Experience collaborating with internal teams and consultant teams, developing compelling designs and promoting the company brand· Exploring new ways to work, teaching, leading, and mentoring with proven perspective, experience, confidence, and excitement.· Hunger to expand from packaging, logos, and print ads to broader placemaking and experience design· Well-rounded understanding of design process, composition, layouts, hierarchy of communication, concepting· Curiosity and willingness to work with planners and landscape architects who build the world we live in· Proficiency and willingness to work in PC environment and macs at home· Professional writing skills to effectively communicate the goals and objectives of projects· Client-facing skills necessary for this role· Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is required· Experience with signage, wayfinding, environmental graphics a plus· Experience with 3D graphics, video production, motion graphics a plusFull time employees are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Supplementary Insurance and Dependent Care FSA and Healthcare FSA. A portion of the premiums are paid for by Norris Design. Norris Design also pays for a Basic Life Insurance and Long-Term Disability as well as a 4% company match to our employer 401k plan. Staff receives 8 paid company holidays per year and an accrual PTO program starting at 15 days per calendar year. Hybrid work environment, working 20 hours in the office and 20 hours at home. Plus year round half day Fridays!
