Job Description :	Job Summary: The Graphic Designer reports directly to the Creative Director and is responsible for creating graphics for use in print, social media, and video. The variety of topics is huge ranging from overall church branding and identity to support for sermons, kid’s ministry, college ministry, the Hope Center, support for the worship team, and many other ministries and projects. The graphic designer will be a part of a comprehensive communications team that collaborates on all projects to create cutting edge work.Work Performed: Work closely with the Creative Director to collaborate on all projects within the communications department.· Responsible for creative design solutions that have a high visual impact.· Creates branding proposals, promotional materials, brochures, folders, packaging, exhibitions and display materials, flyers, and online materials such as Facebook and Instagram posts, online ads and banners, as well as company AVPs and other video material.Project scope and direction will originate from the department or ministry leader and is reviewed and prioritized by the Creative Director.Gather additional info and background from the project originator as needed and create a plan for the project.Illustrate concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type style, and related aesthetic concepts. Submit rough layout for approvals.Use the software program Asana to manage all projects. Communicate with the department administrative assistant on the status of all projects.Qualifications: · Two-years of experience as a Graphic Designer.· A contagious and healthy Christian walk. Must agree to be a member of the church.· Passion for creating purposeful and valuable content that helps the church be successful.· Highly organized and have a high level of accountability for quality and creativity.· Desire to explore new creative ideas and not settle for what’s been done before.· A keen eye for aesthetics and details.· Software expertise: Adobe Creative Suite – Adobe Photoshop, Adobe illustrator, Adobe Indesign, and Adobe premiere.· Coachable and teamwork with respect for organization and authority.· Excellent communication skills.Job Type: Full-timePay: $35,568.00 – $38,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offSchedule:Monday to FridayWeekend availabilityEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Graphic design: 2 years (Preferred)Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Preferred)Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
