Job Summary:
The Graphic Designer will apply art, design, and layout skills to create visually engaging concepts such as logos, promotional and branding materials, PowerPoint presentations, social graphics, and other print and digital materials as needed.
Role and Responsibilities:
Collaborates with practices, marketing team, and other project stakeholders to understand project assignment, audience, and intended message.
Creates original visual media that communicates the desired feeling or message in an engaging and unified way.
Creates or chooses graphics, and stock photography, as appropriate.
Selects fonts for written copy; produces sample layout for approval by Director of Marketing or other project participants.
Prepares drafts of design work and provides samples to Director of Marketing and project stakeholder for review.
Revises projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process.
Consults with Director of Marketing and team members as needed on complex or specialized projects.
Prepares print orders and assembly instructions on notification of final approval.
Adheres to brand standards and upholds integrity of branding for each practice and Paradigm overall
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:?
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite or other similar design software.
Organized with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently on an assignment.
Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, major or significant coursework in Art, Graphic Design, or related disciplines highly preferred.
Previous dental experience is a plus.
At least three years of related work experience highly preferred.
Physical Requirements:?
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
