Job Opening for Graphic Designer in Pearl Abyss America (Manhattan Beach, CA 90266)

The video games industry is transforming how players are entertained, communicating with each other, and interacting online and on their digital devices. As a highly skilled in-house graphic designer, you will have extensive creative work and graphic design experience for the company’s marketing and social activities. You will be responsible for creating various graphic art from marketing banners to merch designs, supporting various marketing campaigns, PR activities and community events. Versatility, creative mind, excellent sense of timing and an aptitude to adapt to different art styles are all important.

Location: Manhattan Beach, CA (Los Angeles)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and create a wide variety of digital graphics such as marketing assets, social media images, video thumbnails, and much more
Develop graphic briefs to facilitate requests from cross-functional teams
Assist in the creation of brand style guides for social media and marketing assets
Be a key collaborator in upcoming creative & social campaigns
Ensure all the graphic design projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications
Perform retouching and polishing of image art assets
Update and reinvent static design assets into fresh animations
Stay up to date on the latest social media trends in the gaming and pop culture space

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Media Art, Content Production Related Majors
3+ years’ experience in graphic design, post-production and/or motion design studio
Deep experience in Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere
Film, photography, and editing experience
Creative mind and storytelling skills
Collaborative work attitude and good communication skills (both verbal and written)
Well-organized and detail oriented
May require evening and weekend hours.

Passion for video games
Marketing Agency and/or videogame industry experience
