Job Description :	Polsinelli has an immediate need for a Graphic Designer in their Plaza office.Ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong team mentality, positive attitude and an ability to juggle multiple responsibilities while working with multiple team members. The Marketing Team is in a constant state of motion, requiring the Graphic Designer to remain flexible and to adapt in an environment with shifting deadlines and priorities. Position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, a high level of attention to detail and understanding/application of firm best practices.Responsibilities and DutiesManage graphic design needs for the firm. Works with Business Development & Marketing Communications team, Events team and Regional Marketing Managers to create and coordinate projectsCoordinate with outside agencies, art services, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary (including preparing specifications and obtaining estimates from vendors when needed)Communicate with clients and collaborate with marketing/creative team to assess internal client needs and:Convey concepts and ideas with rough design layoutsGather relevant information, and present completed designs for client and internal approvalsImage selection for website, intranet and collateral consistent with the firm’s image strategyMaintain Polsinelli’s visual brand with an attention to detail, accuracy, and consistencyAbility to grasp and apply firm brand strategy as competitively differentiating. While not frequently writing copy, understand the essence of the firm brand and appropriate word choiceManage project budgets and establish reasonable and appropriate timelines.Design, layout and produce artwork such as graphs, maps, charts, logos, posters, signage, collateral, advertising, and report coversPhoto editingCreate templates for Marketing team to use on their ownStay abreast of design trends as well as competitor marketing collateral and advertisementsSpecial projects as requested (announcement cards, internal promotional material, firm brochure, slip sheets, etc.)Perform related duties as requiredQualifications and SkillsA background in Graphic Design.
