Summary:
The Graphic Designer will report to the Marketing Manager who will provide instruction and oversight, with specific aesthetic direction from the Senior Art Director. You will be responsible for cohesive visual content across all media: print, digital, and resort signage assets. Projects shall include marketing (print & e-commerce), products and packaging, executive presentations, logo design/typography/style guides, and other guest/team/partner interfaces. You will have the opportunity to wear many hats.
Responsibilities:
Promote and portray the VIVÂMEE Values.
Know, understand, and adhere to company established policies and procedures.
Create logos; advertisements; marketing collateral, style guides, lead brand implementation; design slideshows and presentations, signage, way finding, and other projects.
Develop identities of all resort assets (hotel, winery, restaurants, golf, weddings & more)
Work with leadership to establish Company-wide graphic standards.
Establish & ensure proper use of graphic assets across all business units.
Participate in meetings to discuss new project needs.
Create mock-ups and proofs.
Able to retain direction well yet brings something to the party.
Creative problem solver, able to think through design challenges, conceptualize and execute functional designs on time/on budget.
Collaborate with team members, partners & stakeholders.
Detail-oriented, organized, efficient, and motivated.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Visual storyteller that drives guest engagement
. Requirements:
Minimum four years of experience in advertising, publishing, product and packaging, signage, or another comparable industry preferred.
Formal education in design or other applicable field preferred.
Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp (or other 3d apps), web publishing
Experience with logo design, typography, layout, web/social media, marketing/publishing, physical signage, color design
Motion graphics and drafting are a plus.
Work on-site
Portfolio demonstrating skill level/experience, competency, and design process.
