Job Description : We are looking for an imaginative, hands-on Graphic Designer with a deep passion for health, wellness and fitness to be the steward of the [solidcore] brand. The Senior Designer will report into the Director of Brand Marketing. Core responsibility is the development of all creative materials and marketing communications – from initial concepts, to design, through production, including but not limited to brand campaigns, studio branding, social media content, web design, digital advertising and retail merchandise. This is a role that requires individual creative development, executing design and branding elements across all mediums and channels. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced environment and is excited to immerse themselves in the [solidcore] brand.
Located in vibrant Washington DC, this is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing, investor-backed organization with a desire to be the leader in the studio fitness space.
Concept, design, and execute creative campaigns that break through across platforms and elevate the brand
Explore and execute design and branding elements including but not limited to social content, signage, retail, email, collateral and web design and offline advertising (eg outdoor, direct mail, print)
Lead the evolution of the brand bible, visual identity and brand voice
Work with the Studio Development Team to enhance the in-studio brand identity and brand experience
Work with the Director of Growth Marketing to discover what drives and motivates clients to create effective customer journeys and paid advertising campaigns
Support the social media team with fresh and innovative original content and deliver a distinct, ownable and consistent identity
Ideate and implement client promotions and monthly challenges
Identify and partner with external agencies, photographers, video producers and other third parties as needed
Create and design the in-house proprietary line of retail apparel products; identify activewear industry partnerships
5+ years of industry experience as graphic designer
Passion for fitness, wellness, and the [solidcore] brand
Strong portfolio exhibiting concept and original design Portfolio should demonstrate cutting-edge creative that stands out from the clutter, fresh thinking and a creative approach to problem solving
Expert in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva and Microsoft Office
Led the creative direction, vision, planning and execution of all photography and video shoots
Highly motivated self-starter, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently
UI/UX understanding and experience with .gif animation, motion graphics, and video editing (Final Cut, After Effects, Premiere) a plus
