Job Description : | We are looking for a talented and creative graphic designer who’s passionate about the way visual design impacts content marketing. This role is crucial for creating visual interest that inspires and communicates our solutions to prospects and customers. In doing so, this role elevates our brand and helps us further communicate our value, resulting in increased traffic, leads, revenue, and customer engagement. You’ll Be Responsible for: Designing for digital and prints assets including landing pages, email templates and banners, ads, web pages, one sheets, whitepapers, e-guides, social media, internal slide decks and resources Creating, launching, and keeping visual brand guide up to date and in use throughout SolidProfessor Prioritizing and managing multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions Desired Results: Quality: Customer satisfaction score Conversion and engagement with visual assets Keeping within a desired production cycle time You must bring to the table: Creativity: Come up with new, innovative, and visually appealing ideas. Avoid using the same ideas and designs repetitively, while remaining consistent and on brand. Collaboration: Talent for translating feedback and ideas from non-creatives into creative visuals and communicating those ideas back to the team. Organization: Ability to manage a project from end to end while aligning work with the needs and timelines of the business and marketing team. Communication: Communicates timelines, expectations, and projects with the team. Shows excellent communication skills and adapts to different audiences and situations to reach end goals. A clear understanding of print production, color theory, and when to use RGB, CMYK, or Pantone color values in projects Must have a deep understanding of what constitutes “good digital design” regarding typography, color, and composition and the ability to communicate the reasoning behind ideas. Experience working with an established brand and craft designs while maintaining consistent brand messaging, style, color, and typography Thorough understanding of visual branding strategy, marketing principles, and consumer behavior Must have stellar attention to detail, be highly organized, and manage several projects of varying stages of completion at a given time. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) Ability to take constructive design feedback well and incorporate ideas into design Problem solver with a proven history of dealing with unexpected challenges Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of formal design experience, preferably at an in-house design or marketing agency, demonstrated through a diverse portfolio Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) Nice to Have: Experience in print, multimedia, and web design a plus Experience in offset printing/digital printing/color correction Basic knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 Experience using Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma for web design mockups and wireframing Experience collaborating with in-house product development teamsMust have a portfolio link attached to application submission to be considered for this position.
