All revenue generated by the organization supports our educational programs.JOB SUMMARY: This position provides graphic design and collateral production support to all departments at TGR Foundation. Reporting to the Art Director, this person will assist in the creation and production of foundation and TGR Live design projects. As a member of the Marketing & Communications department, the Graphic Designer participates in the development of marketing strategies/materials in support of the education programs, TGR Live events and advancement.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the production of digital and print collateral materials across the TGRFoundation and TGR Live signature programs and events.Adhere to house style guidelines to produce materials that include event marketing materials, event collaterals, advertisements both digital and print, eblasts, fundraising brochures, large format signage, promotional items, social media graphics and program recruitment materials.Create original designs as needed, adhering to brand guidelines and a standard of high quality.Edit designs based on feedback from internal and external constituents from ideation to final approval.Coordinate print production; provide specs, obtain estimates and work with printers to ensure precise and innovative final products.Use project management system (i.e., Workzone) to track progress and manage ongoing workload.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once.Familiarity with creating digital assets in HTML5 preferred.Perform light retouching and manipulation of images.Assist in other duties as assigned.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Education: Undergraduate degree in Graphic Design or Fine Arts.Experience: 3 – 5 years of experience working within the graphic design field. Must have expertise working in the Adobe Creative Suite with proficiency inInDesign and Photoshop.QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate will be a self-starter bringing creativity, organizational excellence, clear communication, and core graphics and production skills to a multi-dimensional non-profit organization.Must be comfortable working in an environment that emphasizes both self- initiative and teamwork; excellent communication skills; and ability to observe the rule of confidentiality with respect to information considered by the organization to be sensitive in nature.Comprehensive knowledge of professional graphics software including AdobeCreative Cloud (InDesign CC, Illustrator CC, Photoshop CC) is required.Comfortable with a variety of graphic styles and the ability to easily transition from corporate design to sports marketing to youth-oriented materials while working within brand guidelines.Solid skills in typography, layout and graphic design.Ability to remain organized and demonstrate a strong attention to detail while being flexible through multiple rounds of revisions.Ability to set up final artwork for print production at appropriate resolution, size, colors and file type, including packaging files with bleed, crop marks, etc.Good knowledge of print processes.Excellent eye for detail.Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects.TO APPLY: Please submit a cover letter, resume and electronic portfolio (or link to online portfolio).Portfolio submission is required to be considered for an interview.
