The HT Group is partnering with a premier education and coaching company to find a Graphic Designer.
SUMMARY OF PURPOSE :
The Graphic Designer will work with the Design Team in the development and execution of collateral and graphics, in both print and online mediums, for member communication projects and marketing communications. They will also assist in creating our quarterly magazine.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Create and execute design projects following company brand guidelines from concept to completion, with direction from the Senior Design Manager.
Design projects including but not limited to: reports, infographics, social media graphics, flyers, postcards, brochures, logos, icons, advertisements, web/email graphics and tradeshow signage.
Experience in web design and email template design is a plus (no coding experience needed!)
Lead design projects from concept to completion. Collaborate with cross-functional teams as needed.
Resize, manipulate and retouch photos.
Create and update applications, forms, presentations, etc.
Assist in creating artwork and assets for company magazine.
Prepare print-ready files and assets for production and check proofs for accuracy.
Adhere to existing brand guidelines and creative direction to unite the visual style consistency across projects.
Stay up with current design trends and suggest design solutions when appropriate.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
4+ years of proven design experience (supported by an online portfolio)
Must live in Austin, Texas or surrounding area.
Proficient in Adobe Create Suite, specifically Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
Possess strong composition, color, design, typography and layout skills. Must be able to think creatively when conceptualizing design pieces and multitask effectively to meet deadlines.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS and content management systems a plus.
Experience working with a project management tool.
Ability to follow through on all projects and tasks, and clearly communicate status when needed.
Communicate design ideas in a clear and concise manner.
Demonstrate ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and communicate well with other designers (including receiving and responding to constructive feedback) as well as other team members.
