United Way of Greater St Louis is seeking a Graphic Designer who possesses technical expertise, resourceful creativity, project management, and storytelling experience. The position will work closely with others to make sure day-to-day design and content functions are met, while implementing more long-term branding, creative and messaging components.

The position includes

Design development for all aspects of a project. From concepting, ideation, concept and image boards, to creation of all collateral including brochures, envelopes, logos, signage, stationery, and flyers.
Content creation for digital media. Including but not limited to photo selection, original illustration, data visualization, animated gifs, wireframes, Photoshop templates, and platform specific templates. This content will be used heavily in social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn), on our home website and product or program specific websites related to United Way of Greater St Louis, and emails, newsletters and blog posts.
This person will work very closely with the Creative Director to ensure projects are of the highest quality. In addition, the position will work directly with the Senior Vice President of Marketing, Digital Director, Vice President of Communications, and numerous other internal stakeholders, meeting their needs while ensuring branding and messaging is critical.
Getting print projects from start to finish. This includes experience working with printers and print pieces from small scale (business cards and envelopes) to large scale (posters and billboards). Will package files to work seamlessly with a variety of vendors.

If you are a strategic, creative and tactical thinker who can operate in an ever-changing team environment, with a high working knowledge of the core Adobe Creative Suite products, especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop with skilled knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Powerpoint, we would like to hear from you. Skills in photography, photo selection, video editing, and other design applications preferred. Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, advertising, journalism, marketing, communication, public relations or similar field strongly preferred. A minimum of three years of experience in graphic design field preferred.
