| Job Description : | JOB TITLE: GRAPHIC DESIGNER Verdani Partners is seeking a full-time graphic designer to support our Communications team with development of Verdani and client-branded materials. Design proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is a must. Our go-to design software is InDesign and PowerPoint. Our new website will be designed using Squarespace.Please see the “About Us” section below or visit our website (www.verdani.com) to learn more about our firm.KEY JOB FUNCTIONSDesign and layout marketing pieces, such as annual reports, with charts and graphs, infographics, and other visuals, including photos and/or maps, for client, prospect, investor and other audiences.Collaborate with senior team members and other key stakeholders to create crisp, compelling and professional social media posts, signage, posters, flyers and elevator/lobby screen images.Effectively communicate and collaborate with other practice areas to ensure the visual design is communicating the desired message.Help to manage and fulfil internal production needs and ensure short- and long-term deadlines are met.Adhere to various brand guidelines.Proofread your own and others’ work (grammar, typos, writing style).SKILLS & EXPERIENCERequired Minimum of 3-4 years of proven professional experience in graphic design and presentation designOnline design portfolioStrong design, color palette, layout and typographical abilityExcellent analytical, verbal, written and editorial skillsAbility to conceptualize, prioritize and execute with little directionAbility to collaborate effectively with team members across disciplines and in multiple geographic locations and time zonesExceptional organizational skills (resource utilization and prioritization)Meticulous attention to detailExceptional multi-tasking skills, self-motivation to complete projects and ability to meet fast and tight deadlinesPerformance-oriented, with willingness to adapt to meet deadlinesPreferred Annual report design and production experiencePowerPoint presentation design experienceBachelor’s degree in a relevant field – design, marketing, communicationsExperience working within commercial real estate and sustainability industryExperience working with data to create graphicsExperience designing for printExperience with data visualization and GIS mapping tools (Tableau, ArcGIS)PLATFORMS & SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS Professional experience with Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesignProfessional experience with PC and Mac platformsProfessional experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)WORK SAMPLES Please include the following materials in your application:Link to your design website and/or PDF portfolioLANGUAGES Fluent in English.
