Job Overview:

You will work on the Marketing team as a Web Developer supporting our digital and marketing projects such as restaurant menu updates, landing pages, development, and webpage updates, deploying email marketing campaigns using graphics, imagery, and content. You will work closely with the Marketing team to designing time-sensitive new restaurant menu sections or web pages in Webflow utilizing current site design; set up integration-like forms, tracking codes, and other embeds, and use your expertise to do basic design tasks like developing new restaurant menu layouts, animating GIF’s, and modifying logo lock-ups as well as ensuring implementations follow web standards, accessibility, SEO and usability best practices. You’ll also be helping the Marketing team with day-to-day requirements like order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, research and development, troubleshooting to support restaurants, and general problem solving. We all wear a lot of hats around here!

Travel: 10%
Schedule: Monday thru Friday is a typical schedule, however some nights and weekends depending on projects, new openings, media events.

Essential Functions:

Partners with Designers and Culinary experts to update, maintain, and develop new restaurant menus
Collaborates with 3rd party development consultants to launch new websites, and browser-based tools
Translates and facilitates discussions between internal operations teams and 3rd party e-commerce platforms like Webflow, Shopify, Sendgrid, Mailchimp, CodeTwo, and Open Table
A strong grasp of and experience using UX principles, vocabulary, techniques, and approaches
Ensures files for production are properly built and work with specified parameters on a per-project basis
Performs work on multiple projects simultaneously prioritizing projects to meet deadlines
Implement new features to existing software according to specifications
Suggests viable solutions to resolve issues with existing software
Collaborate with a team of creatives, interactive designers, and other developers to define and implement exciting and dynamic functionality to our pages using the latest web technologies
Responsible for the translation of visual and written designs into optimized and working code to create a best in-class user experience.
You will push the boundaries of what is possible on the web by vetting and deploying projects with new and emerging web technologies.
Sets up InDesign folders on the server and archives previous issues
Formats and proofreads

Essential Requirements/Skills:

Excellent troubleshooting skills
Excellent oral and written communications skills, including professional writing, professional copyediting (preferably with some knowledge of the AP Stylebook) and proofreading experience
Strong research skills
Firm understanding of how to document bugs/errors (screenshots, videos, step-by-step on how to reproduce, etc)
Ability to articulate new features and enhancements to existing systems and platforms
Experience with relational database works
Adobe CS Suite, especially InDesign
Proficiency with Webflow, HTML, CSS and essential CMS
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Basic understanding of Javascript (like how to embed tracking codes or embed third-party software)
Must be highly detail-oriented, well organized and able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
