The position reports to the Marketing ManagerRole DescriptionThe Graphic Designer/Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, help build and maintain the company s brand aesthetics, internally and externally. From concept through execution, this candidate will help enhance our brand, keeping it consistent across all our various touchpoints. The creative talents of the individual in this role will be applied to company presentations, advertisements, marketing materials, conference booth graphics/materials, social, web graphics and other areas as needed. This is an opportunity to join a growing team and have an instrumental role in helping build Baker Group s marketing team. A successful candidate will be a self-starter with strong project coordination skills, who can not only create stunning visuals, but also coordinate marketing-related projects.Will support and report to the Marketing Manager. This individual will have a proactive approach to getting the job done and a can-do attitude.**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe following duties are typical for this job. Other duties may be required and assigned.Position requirements and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:In collaboration with other internal marketing team members, and external third-party companies, the Graphic Designer/Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing company designs in digital and print form to support the needs of the company and business units.Support the company s efforts in projecting quality, consistency, and innovation through all marketing activities across the companyCreate innovative and impactful design assets that explain Baker Group s portfolio of offerings through various marketing channels that include but are not limited to:Company presentations, marketing materials, brand toolkit, print and digital advertising, social media, website, newsletter, conference and event related materials, video graphics (in support of third-party vendor), etc.Own, enhance, and ensure adherence to Baker Group brand standards and style.Support company website design and content marketing.Work collaboratively with cross-functional business units and departments – partnering with marketing and business development to develop client-facing digital communications and manage long/short-term design projects.Help bring new ideas for design and content creation using your expertise and eye for great design.Scope and create supporting templates for our teams to be more efficient in their efforts to procure and maintain clients.Coordinate various marketing projects and coordinate with third-party services as needed.Assist with day-to-day marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projects and activitiesPlan logistics for trade show presentations to include procurement and readiness of all marketing materials such as promotional items and printed marketing collateralParticipate in coordination of corporate eventsCoordinate with marketing team to brainstorm strategies and finalize marketing plansProvide a variety of support to the marketing teamAssist company committees appointed to the marketing team as assignedWork under general supervision with some creativity and latitude expectedMINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSBA/BS or equivalent experience.2+ years of experience in graphic design, marketing professional services preferred.Examples demonstrating experience in creating compelling designs that tell a story.Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/InDesign/Photoshop/Premier Pro), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Ability and willingness to learn new applicationsA self-starter, with the desire and ability to perform as a collaborative team player and successfully juggle multiple projects and competing priorities.Ability to deliver polished work under quick timelines.Strong attention to detailDemonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAccountability and ownershipMust be committed to internal and external client serviceStrong interpersonal skills and “can-do” attitudeVideo editing skills is a plus.MENTAL AND PHYSICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSClient focused, internally and externallyPatience to work with numerous co-workers and clients, listening to their needs and assisting them with solutions.Communication skillsCustomer service skillsMust be able to work flexible hours as needed or required by project or proposal deadlines.Excellent time management, multi-tasking and organization skillsOrganized – create charts, spreadsheets, to-do lists, schedules.ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITYAt any given time, may be exposed to Construction and Industrial jobsite conditions, including:Weather, extreme heat or coldExposure to dirt/dustNoise intensity — LoudExposure to fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors.EQUIPMENT/TOOLSComputer systems, hardware and software.Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Adobe, InDesign, multiple graphics programsBaker Group offers a competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and a positive work environment.
