Job Description :	We are a well-established, local sign company looking for a proficient, hard-working Graphic Designer with sign shop experience. As a Graphic Designer, your primary responsibility will be to create computer generated vinyl and/or full color graphics output that can be weeded, cut, and applied or printed and mounted to a substrate. You will work closely with customers to ensure complete satisfaction with the final product. The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated team player who can work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and who is determined to make every project his or her absolute best. Experience working with wide format printers and plotters a big plus.DUTIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):Creating the design of various sign projects using Adobe Illustrator and/or Gerber ComposerWorking directly with coworkers and customers on design, creative direction, creation or proofs, and file transfersManaging customer projects through the entire design and production processInspecting jobs for accuracy and quality controlKeeping a clean and organized work areaRunning and maintaining large format digital printers and plotter equipmentAssisting the production personnel with weeding, masking, laminating and applying vinyl, as neededOccasionally answering phones and helping walk-in customersWorks on different projects simultaneouslyEstablishes and maintains effective team relationships with all support departmentsFollows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codesPROGRAMS:Adobe Creative Suite (mostly Illustrator & Photoshop)Gerber ComposerRoland VersaworksMicrosoft Office (mostly Word & PowerPoint)QUALIFICATIONS:Must be able to take direction and follow specific instructions give, this is critical to the positionPrevious sign or print industry experience preferred, especially experience using a Roland Eco-Solvent Printer and vinyl plotterProficiency in creating and manipulating vector graphicsMust be proficient in Adobe products, specifically Illustrator and PhotoshopVery strong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience plotting, weeding, masking, and installing vinyl is a plusVinyl wrap experience is a plusMotivated and a self-starterMust be able to take creative criticismProfessional appearance and attireMUST have own reliable transportationJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: From $18.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayApplication Question(s):Do you have a drivers license or a reliable mode of transportation?Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Graphic design: 1 year (Preferred)Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Preferred)Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
