Responsibilities include designing eye-catching and engaging point-of-sale for a multitude of beverage brands and statewide accounts with the Adobe Creative Suite on a PC platform; quality assurance in signage; creation and completion of physical product through various forms of production involving but not limited to adhesive vinyl, corrugated plastic, perforated window clings, cardstock, and business cards, with multiple types of printers. Solid understanding of the print-to-production process is desired but not required. Ability to work under pressure and deliver high volumes of work during peak seasons is needed. Candidate must be able to adhere to brand standards and department deadlines. Most jobs have a ten-day turnaround so attention to detail paired with speed and skill are required.Responsibilities· Preparing files for print production or end-user· Modifying existing templates prepared in InDesign· Working with the design team to implement changes and revisions in a timely manner· Adhering to established production quality and brand standards, including fonts, logos, and colors· Managing electronic files, including properly setting up electronic files, following naming conventions, saving, and archiving· Creating PDFs and other files that meet proper print specifications and preparing files for publishing· Heavy production load with attention to detail· Properly prepare files for production· Design and communicate using Outlook, Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator and Photoshop (PC platform).· Laminating and hand cutting· Using electric cutter· Applying adhesive vinyl to corrugated plastic, cutting and applying grommets· Cutting/trimming large format substrate· Packaging completed signs· Must be able to lift 20-50 pounds· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment· Time management· Ability to work closely with sales force to achieve needs of multiple accounts· Ability to work well independently with minimal direction· Strong attention to detail· Good organizational skills· Excellent problem-solving skills· Ability to work well with a team and collaborate with colleaguesJob Type: Full-timePay: From $20.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Graphic design: 1 year (Preferred)Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Preferred)Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
