The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated team player who can work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and who is determined to make every project his or her absolute best.RESPONSIBILITIESAbility to communicate and work with customers to create and deliver high quality, creative, and accurate proofs using Illustrator.Works with co-workers and customers with file transfers, design options, proofs, etc.Provides accurate proofs/renderings to clients in a timely mannerInspects jobs for accuracy before sending them to the plotter or printerWork the production table producing the signs. Such as weeding, laminating and applying graphics to substrate.Works on different projects simultaneouslyAssists in the maintenance of all equipment including computers, plotters, and printersMaintains accurate electronic and paper record of File Storage for all proofs/renderingsEstablishes and maintains effective team relationships with all support departmentsFollows all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codesQUALIFICATIONSExperience with multiple computer software is needed, specifically Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator and PhotoShop and rip software, including Omega and Onyx Postershop preferred.Strong PC skills and internet, Facebook, and sign production software skillsPrevious experience as a graphic designer, sign-related computer operator, including an advanced level of experience using Adobe applications,Strong verbal and written communication skillsBasic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing whole numbers and fractions and converting fractions to decimals and vice versa)Able to work well under pressure to output high volume, high quality workAble to lift 50 or more poundsAble to use light power equipmentSalary Range: depending on experienceJob Type: Full-timeExperience:relevant: 1 year (Preferred)illustrator/photoshop: 1 year (Preferred)Job Type: Full-timePay: $13.00 – $16.00 per hourBenefits:Paid time offSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Graphic design: 1 year (Preferred)Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Preferred)Adobe Illustrator: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
