Overview:
The Marketing Group that support the Aeropostale, Lucky Brand and Nautica brands of SPARC Group needs a graphic designer to concept and design all on garment trim and packaging.
The Trim Graphic Designer will work with their cross functional partners to create innovative trim and packaging. This individual leverages the trend awareness, creativity, and relationship building skills to fulfill these objectives.
Responsibilities:
Design innovative trim and packaging for Aeropostale, Lucky Brand and Nautica
Collaborate to develop creative layouts and solutions for main labels, hang tags, jokers, pocket flashers, hardware and packaging
Use trend intelligence and understanding of the current and historical business to design and execute specific categories
Develop strong working relationships with cross functional team members (Production, Design, and Merchandising) through communication and problem solving
Understand the fundamentals of the Production process as it impacts Apparel Marketing projects
Manage deadlines in accordance with the corporate calendar
Assist with the creation and management of all guidelines
Maintain project libraries; compile reference materials together with program files
Perform duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years’ experience within Apparel Marketing or Packaging Design
Understanding the youth market and environmental best practices.
Ability to multi-task and shift priorities
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
Ability to innovate and think creatively
Excellent organizational and communication, and time management skills
