Are you looking for a flexible hybrid work schedule/policy?
Epson, a $10B global leader in high-quality consumer electronics, imaging, and point of sale printing devices, is seeking an exceptional Graphic Designer to join our Information Design & Delivery team.
You will be responsible for providing concept, design, layout, execution, and creative artwork for a range of print, electronic, and web-based end-user instructions
This position will be based out of Epson America’s headquarters in Los Alamitos, CA with the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule.
What you will be doing:
Graphic Design
Designs and produces print ready PDFx files for final production (e.g., posters, CD platter art, art for slipsheets or other printed pieces, etc.) for documentation distributed in the Americas:
Collaborates with content developers to create printed Mac-based documentation pieces in different languages
Designs comprehensives and presents for client approval.
Creates original icons, software screen and GUI designs, and other elements to enhance documentation designs and reflect product positioning.
Tracks jobs through all phases of production process including development of art assets, copy fitting, design, and layout.
Creates and designs art assets for online documentation pieces, as needed.
Adheres to and maintains style design templates for use on end-user documentation and follows Epson branding guidelines on all end user pieces.
Maintains electronic files and archives final files in department archive system.
Prioritizes projects and organizes workflow for all in-coming jobs.
Coordinates deliverables with internal clients (technical editors) to ensure files are completed in time for local or overseas production deadlines.
Complies with Seiko Epson and local print production standards for printed materials including all materials created by vendors.
Researches and evaluates illustration and design software programs.
What you will bring:
Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A. or B.S.)
3-5 years experience
Experience with Mac and Adobe Creative Cloud is required (InDesign, Acrobat Professional, Photoshop, and Illustrator)
Ability to work and thrive in a deadline driven environment.
Must be highly organized and possess exceptional time management skills, with the ability to effectively juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
Experience working with and modifying technical illustrations is a plus
